˝My experience is so special and unique˝ - every exchange student (except those late bloomers who missed home breastfeeding too much to enjoy) It's simple, I went studying to Portugal (Lisbon) for a year, had an amazing time and in some cases, I documented my life with camera.
I want to share those moments here, also because someone might be having second thoughts about moving away from home for a certain period of time. It's quadruple worth it. No matter where you go.

My friend, my weird foot and I went to Peniche for a 3-day surfing trip. Eat, surf, eat tuna, surf, sleep, repeat.

Praia Ribeira do Cavalho - few years ago a hidden paradise only locals knew, now a touristic destination. Don't tell anyone, it's already too crowded.
Nazaré, where arguably the biggest wave in history was surfed in 2012. Google it.
