One of the co-workers who really likes fishing invited us on an adventure with Lithuania's spin fishing champions. These amazing guys arranged the boats, the rods, and all the other equipment we needed. We met in the morning by the lake and went fishing...
It was my first time holding the fishing rod, and I was already happy to know how to cast it. My colleague and I spent more than half an hour learning and, of course - caught nothing. So we moved to another spot, closer to the second boat.
The spin fishing champion we were with said that he saw a big pike somewhere in that direction, so I just cast my fishing rod there. And imagine my surprise when I felt it twitching!
I've started reeling with excitement, the champion helped me adjust my rod and dragged the fish from the water. And next thing I remember... I'm holding this crocodile in my hands.
Okay, not exactly the crocodile, but my first fish - pike - the biggest fish I ever saw alive (and not in the zoo)! Take a look 👇
