Welcome to this beautiful world Neev. :) You make our family complete baby. The moment you arrived into this world on December 16th, 2021 at 3:24 pm PST, I fell in love with you and to this date, I keep falling in love with you more and more whenever I see you and hold you in my arms.
You arrived much faster than Aashi into this world. Based on previous experience, I defied taking epidural till I no longer could bear the pain, but with you, taking epidural was the hardest and most painful task I’ve ever encountered in my entire lifetime. Even before it’s effect started, you arrived with the most beautiful and innocent smile on your face.
You’re a keeper my love. :) You keep smiling while sleeping, while you’re awake and almost every time I see you and play with you. Your smile is so infectious, it turns the whole family’s mood into a happier one. :) You love your food, your sleep and your coziness. Once you have these 3, you’re the happiest kid I have ever seen. Your non stop smile is very hard to ignore and it makes my day seeing just that one smile of yours :)
It feels like you’ve been with us for eternity. Aashi loves to play with you all the time. She likes to sooth you by saying “Baby don’t cry” in her sweetest voice. She likes to pamper you with kisses on your cheeks, forehead and chin. She holds you with both her hands by keeping one pillow on her back and one on her lap and placing you on the pillow. When you’re out in the living room, she insists that you’re held either by me or Dad and doesn’t allow Dada or Dadi to hold you. She says “Ammee pakke.. ”("Mom holds him") and would cry if they come close to you. Given her age, she sometimes hurt you but it’s just coz she’s super fast and given her age of innocence, she thinks that she can do masti with you as well just like she does with me or Dad. But she loves you very much and I know she will protect you like a big sis always does.
You’re very addictive baby. Now that I have started working, I get to spend lesser time with you than I used to before. I can’t complain since I’m working from home and can spend time with both of you whenever I wish to during the daytime. But sometimes I miss feeding you your every feed which is every two hours. I have adored getting up at night, feeding you and spending time with you. I’ve clicked so many pics almost every night, holding you in my arm and making you sleep. :) Those are few of the most cherished moments I’ve shared with you and I wouldn’t have traded for anything else in this world. The moment we came home from hospital, you looked around and were so comfortable just being at home. You aren’t a fussy baby at all. Once you are fed, you’re a happy baby playing and smiling non stop. :)
Your coos and smiles makes it almost impossible to be away from you even for few hours :) I will forever and ever hold you in my arms even when you grow older and that’s my promise to you love.. ❤️
