In the morning we had a long exhausting walk all over a mountain to see vanilla and ylang ylang plantations. This is the theme of our first film “Cloves, Vanilla And The Fragrant Smell Of Ylang Ylang”.
Now it’s time to see the small village Paje to learn about local comorean traditions. It’s amazing - they make a new roof just out of some palm leaves! Maketses brother taught us how to do to. So we helped him to replace the roof. In the village Tali tried a traditional sandalwood beauty mask, which cleans the skin and helps to protect from the sun in East Africa. Finally we visited a very famous local tailor to dress up with a traditional marriage dress.
