With a small team in my office (UNIT IMAGE) we had the idea to make this CG short-movie, to tell our politicians to stop corridas in France!
Director Jean Michel Drechsler really cares about animal cause, like many of us here.
He wanted something that can hit people's mind. What about our Raptor in an arena? He tought this anocronism could be a great way to spread the word.
We also wanted a short video that everybody can quickly watch on their phone, in case to warn a maximum of people of the danger of Corrida. In exactly 1 week, French people must decide their future president. Unfortunately, the two finalist have nothing against Corridas. Because it's "cultural"...
It was very difficult for us to work on this movie.
The video rushes we used in reference for the animation was bloody. And seeing an animal suffering like this really broke our heart ...
We have a partnership with a famous association here in France, named "30 Millions d'amis" (30millions friends), we hope to get enough signatures in the petition to show it at our future president, and politicians.
