Open Syllabus is a non-profit org that maps the college curriculum based on the contents of millions of syllabi. It can tell you what's taught, how often, in combination with what other titles, and so on. OS's work is free, online, and explorable. The conversation piece is definitely the 'Co-Assignment Galaxy' ( https://galaxy.opensyllabus.org/) which graphs relationships between the million most-assigned titles.
With the amazing Nadieh Bremer (https://www.visualcinnamon.com/), we turned the top 600 or so assigned titles in different fields into very large (36"x48") posters. Film/Photography and Architecture are below; another 9 can be found at the Open Syllabus Print Store (https://open-syllabus.myshopify.com/). They're beautiful, cool for students (current and former) and support the work of Open Syllabus.
