A travel photographer and journalist by trade who've worked together on a number of previous projects, Tim White and I were approached by another colleague (who was in the process of setting up his own publishing company) with an idea to create a travel guide to London's pubs through their feline residents - and thought it was a winner. So, after more than ten months of interviews and photographing later (with many unsuccessful photoshoot attempts - turns out there's good reason they say "Don't work with animals!") we're proud to release London Pubcats in time for this Christmas 2016. Feline thirsty yet?

Lily at the Anglesea Arms in Ravenscourt Park loves a pint - of prawns

Legz at the Charlotte Despard in Archway is named so for not having the full set

No-one but Purdy knows how long he's been residing at the Gunmakers in Marylebone

Duchess at the Duke of Hamilton in Hampstead is the lady of the house

Herman lives with a married cat at the Nag's Head in Walthamstow

Winnie at the Old Eagle in Camden likes nothing better than to be pampered by her many adoring fans

Pork Pie is a dab paw on the piano at The Southampton Arms in Gospel Oak

Nelson at Tapping the Admiral in Kentish Town will drink you under the table

Giant ginger tom Biscuit takes position in the front window of the White Swan & Cuckoo, where he does a fine job of drawing in punters keen to take a selfie with the handsome puss
