Working in a field of fashion photography is a great way to express ones imagination. Having this freedom you are able to escape into, for example, a magical garden, circus, or recreate a casual, well, maybe not so casual day in a fancy hotel hall which happened more than 80 years ago. Yes, that's exactly what one independent Lithuanian handbags' brand "kARTu“ and photographer/stylist Reda Mickeviciute worked on together recently.
The photographed collection is named „Cities & Stories“ as it was inspired by the biggest super cities in the world and its people – all having their one and only story to tell. It was a symbolical coincidence - we found our very own, familiar „Metropolis“ here, at the heart of our hometown Kaunas in Lithuania. The collection editorial was captured in the nostalgic, art deco style hall which actually stayed the same way since the interwar period in the country. Beautiful historical hotel became an absolutely unique space for this creative project. “Cities & Stories“ symbolises modern, city rhythm inspired elegance, plays game of colours and reinvents vintage ladylike style.
