This is an Image taken inside of the Dharavi slum located in Mumbai. This powerful image depicts a small child living among garbage. Slums pose a massive waste of human potential with little basic services and almost nonexistent education standards. The people born into these places have a perceived lower social class that cripples their chances escaping the poverty that surrounds the slums. A recent survey showed that the life expectancy of people living in the Dharavi slum.
