Israel-based designer Roy Harpaz has come up with an elegant and sleek new vertical design for a record player that effortlessly combines futuristic design and retro function in an egg-shaped package.
Unlike the traditional turntables we're used to, this one plays the record vertically, almost putting it on display. By scanning through a record, the player can find different points in the song, allowing listeners to skip tracks. This, along with the remote, helps make it a more modern home device, though the wood panel on the front gives it a retro appeal nonetheless.
