PonkichiM's drawings are very detailed and intricate. There are even little comics featuring the animal-vegetable characters with adorable depictions of them being hugged, snuggled, or tickled. Their style heavily resembles anime and manga, which are very popular in Japan and became well liked in the rest of the world not so long ago. It's hard to find someone who doesn't know what Dragon Ball or Sailor Moon is.
On their Instagram account, the artist says that they create one character a week and share them every Sunday on their Twitter. People seem to love these, some even saying they look like a new generation of Pokemon.
