San Francisco-based jewelry artist, Asuka Saito made unique and beautiful jewelry from recycled plastic bottles and cups and started a project that expresses waste and animals, victims of an environmental issue, coexist beautifully.
She had a fascination with the transparency of PET but also a desire to create something very precious and meaningful out of something very ordinary. She wishes this project is going to be one of the ways to consider a sustainable future and raise awareness about issues that affect us in our daily lives.
With qualifications from the Gemological Institute of America, Asuka is a master in her field and she designs unique, incredible and wonderfully energizing jewelry inspired by forms and colors found in nature.
