Since I was a child I was interested in art - especially painting. Sculpting came much later - I started 9 years ago, when I was 29, at the insistence of my husband.
All my previous projects are based on my personal, surrealistic imagination and perception of various species of animals, plants, and insects. As you can see, some of them are the results of my positive reception, and others are not necessarily. I also invent species that do not exist and which I would like to meet them in everyday life. I start my work with a sculpture, which I make in polymer clay. Then my husband makes molds and casts in poliuethane resin. Finally, the castings are painted.
Ideas come straight from my imagination - I think they've always been there (and there are still a lot of them). The project that was the most difficult and at the same time the most satisfying has not seen the light of day yet. I will show it soon. It deviates a lot from the things I have made so far; it will be much more serious.
I hope people will see the amount of work and passion which I put into my sculptures and appreciate that it is an effect of the joy of creation.
