Hi, I'm Stacey, the Accessory Artist behind Mas & Nobu designs. My most recent creation is the origami lenticular earring. I re-mixed the traditional fan and the age old art of optical illusion to create these earring designs that can hypnotize and mesmerize!
It started off as a dream that was so thrilling it woke me up. I dreamt of creating accessories that could create interactions and connections between people - strangers, friends, etc.
It took weeks and weeks of experimentation with different materials and illustrations and graphics to figure out how this would work. When I finally figured it out, I started wearing them and got so many positive interactions with people I would have never met. It was so cool and interesting to wear something that made people think and moved them to say something positive.
Whether or not I sell a few or a ton, I am ecstatic that the earrings worked and made people happy!
