Underwater Mermaid Dreams

Senior Photography has become more unique! On the field, on top of a building, on a horse, it is all evolving! Kasey Vaitekunas, of One Sweet World Images, is a Florida gal and thought it was time to take photography in Texas underwater. From engagement photos, to trash the dress, to boudoir, and with her seniors underwater has become her favorite style of photography!

Anna, class of 2018, came to Kasey and said that she wanted to become a mermaid so @OSWImages teamed up with Spivey-Lane Salon @SpiveyLaneSalon for hair and make up. Tamara also brought a friend along, Rebecca Williams @rjwilliamsba who did the mermaid neck airbrushing to complete her look. Tamara and Kasey have worked together on other underwater projects, as well as surprise engagements that have been featured on the Knot, in the past and know how to make a creative vision come to life. Anna created her beautiful mermaid top and Kasey bought her fin and the rest is in the camera! It was an awesome collaboration that came out magical!

In the editing phase, Kasey called her former student, Daymon Ryan, theatre sound design major and composer, to create an original piece for her underwater mermaid. Enjoy!
