I am a photographer based in Mumbai and have been capturing life as it existed across India for several years and slowly building a body of work. In all those years I refrained from the lure of posting my images on the internet in the hope that I would one day showcase them in the manner I thought fitting.
The day my son was conceived is when the idea of a book was born. I wanted to create something representative of me for my son to hold on to for years to come. The book is now published with 65 images selected from a pool of over 200.
Now that the book is done I have started to post images that did NOT make it to the book. Sort of like cleaning out ones closet - a cathartic experience after which I hope to start on an entirely fresh project.
