I discovered this art form 3 years ago and haven’t looked back. This hobby came at a time I really needed it and continues to provide me with much needed therapeutic value, both for me and the people I make it for.
Fishing Bear
I carved this as a Father’s Day gift. The clients dad is an avid bass fisherman.
Ewok
This was commissioned by a local comic book store as decoration.
On-site wildlife totem
This was commissioned as a Birthday/Father’s Day gift. He had cut down a tree in front of his house and I carved the stump. Included in the collage of animals is an owl, bear, fox, raccoons, turtle, beaver, eagle and a deer.
Horse Bust
This was strictly an impulse carve. It’s now part of the decor of a western style ladies wear shop.
Sunflower
A birthday gift for a very deserving little girl who loves sunflowers.
Honeypot Bear
This was another impulse carve. A lot of times I have no idea what the final project will be and I just add the details as I go.
Eagle Bust
I was so happy with the outcome of this one that I’m actually keeping it.
Say Anything Panda
From the iconic scene in the movie Say Anything...I just replaced the actor with a panda bear.
Pet Request
Custom piece I did for a client who recently lost their beloved pet.
