Hong Lam, a young photographer from Hong Kong, is also a toy fan. The man who uses his favourite toy Batman to create a series of fantastic tourist pictures is crowdfunding online for publishing his photobook.
When young, everyone wanted to take a trip with his favourite toys. Today, finally someone can help you realize your dream! Taking Batman as the main character, Hong Lam successfully made the fantastic travel photos by simulating the light in different scenes with his homemade studio and LED lights, coupled with photography and photoshop skill. In his works, Batman visited Colosseum, Stonehenge, New Zealand Waitomo Caves and Sky Island. Now he has made a series of photographs into photobook and launched crowdfunding in kickstarter with a goal of about $10 thousand, hoping to encourage everyone to stick to their dreams through photography.
The photographer was inspired by the first time in 2013 when he left Hong Kong, a place where he had lived for 23 years, and came to the vast land of Australia. During the year, he travelled all over Melbourne, Sydney and rural towns. Before that, he had never seen anyone travel on a second-hand car rental for thousands of kilometres with a large backpack and a pair of slippers. Due to the scenery, people and things taking place along the way, he has got a whole new sense of travel. Even if the body is confined, the soul can take the journey to look for a change in a dreary life. So, he started a fantasy of journey with his best playmate Batman in the childhood.
