With summer in full swing across the globe we took it upon ourselves to list our favourite water features, including Waterfalls and Infinity Pools around the world.
There are not many sensations that match the calmness created by mother natures waterfalls nor are there many feelings that live up to that of laying in a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking a stunning view.
Today we've listed 10 of our favourites, as difficult as it may be. There was no room for the famous Angel Falls of Venezuela, or a place for the gorgeous view from the Jade Mountain Infinity Pool in St Lucia but what we do have is 10 locations not to be missed.
1. Niagara Falls, USA & Canada - Niagra Falls, one of the most iconic waterfalls in the world. Situated between USA & Canada this is one not to be missed.
Niagra may not be as tall as some of the largest in the world but that does not affect it's reputation. A mere 167ft make sure you add this waterfall to your bucket list.
2. Iguassu Falls, Argentina & Brazil - Igaussu Falls is another mesmorising waterfall that we recommend checking out in 2016. With as many as 275 drops the waterfall that sits on the border of Brazil and Argentina is certainly not one for the faint-hearted.
Put it on your bucket list as a must see!
3. Detifoss, Iceland - Detifoss, the first of 2 inclusions from Iceland. Just like the Niagara, do not be decieved by the size of this "must see" tourist attraction. At 148ft it may not be the largest waterfall on the list but it is certainly one of the most exciting views.
4. Marina Bay Sands Infinity Pool, Singapore - The first of the infinity pools and it's Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The Hotel has done a tantalising job of captivating the world of travel with their stunning view from the hotel infinity pool.
This has to be on your bucket list, if it isn't already.
5. Hanging Gardens Ubud, Bali - Of all the infinity pools we have reviewed, The Hanging Gardens in Bali is certainly the most jaw dropping.
Not only is the view from the infinity pools quite remarkable, but the fact that each of the hotels 38 rooms has it's own infinity pool with a view. Get this on your list for 2016.
6. Victoria Falls, Livingstone Island, Zambia -Zambia, home to the quite rightly named "Devils Swimming Pool" and arguably the most dangerous in the world.
With a submerged rock the only thing stopping visitors tipping off the 100ft drop into the largest waterfall in the world, the Victoria Falls, this sight is one to add to your list.
7. The Cambrian Hotel Infinity Pool, Switzerland -Another hotel on the list is the Cambrian Hotel and it's gorgeous infinity pool in Switzerland.
The view is up there with the most pictures-esc in the world and we urge you to visit at some point.
8. The Blue Lagoon Volcanic Spa, Iceland - A geothermal spa has made the list, and it is our second visit to Iceland. This time to The Blue Lagoon Volcanic Spa. The scenery, the natural nature and the water flow that project calmness. For that reason alone this makes our list.
9. Huanglong Volcanic Springs, Yellow Dragon Mountain, China - Without access for tourist this is one that certainly still deserves to make the list.
The Huanglong Volcanic Springs in China is a breathtaking specitcal. The colourful pools and snow-capped peaks make this a location to visit in 2016.
10. Terme di Saturnia Volcanic Springs, Italy - And the final listing is from Italy, Terme di Saturnia Volcanic Spa. The country of love doesn't disappoint here. The gorgeous springs and the hot summer sun is one to check out!
