I have been doing yoga since many years. The beauty of asanas (yoga poses) always intrigued me. So being a graphic designer, I thought of mixing yoga and graphic design, to come up with tile art from my yoga poses! Each tile art has a yoga pose and it's benefits.

Stretch for Chandra Namaskar (Moon Pose)

Chandra Namaskar stretches the spine, hamstrings, and backs of legs; strengthens leg, arm, back, and stomach muscles.

Skandasana (Half Squat Pose)

It improves your balance and strengthens your core.

Ustrasana (Camel Pose)

It reduces fat on thighs. Stretches and strengthens the shoulders and back. Expands the abdominal region, improving digestion and elimination. Improves posture.

Chakrasana (Wheel Pose)

The chest expands and the lungs get more oxygen - this makes the pose especially beneficial for asthma patients. It reduces the stress and tension in the body. Sharpens eyesight. This asana helps to strengthen the back and increases the elasticity of the spine.

Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend)

Stretches the hips, hamstrings, and calves. Strengthens the thighs and knees. Keeps your spine strong and flexible.

Prasarita Padottanasana (Wide-legged forward)

It stretches and strengthens the hamstrings, calves, hips, low back, and spine. The various arm positions stretch your shoulders, wrists, forearms, and upper back.

Virabhadrasana (Warrior Pose)

Strengthens your shoulders, arms, legs, ankles and back. Opens yours hips, chest and lungs. Improves focus, balance and stability. Encourages good circulation and respiration.

Ardha Chakrasana (Half Wheel Pose)

Effective to reduce stomach and thighs fat. Stimulates pancreas and controls high blood sugar. Improves lungs capacity. Brings flexibility to your spine and back muscles.
