We made a cloud using a fine metal net and we teamed up with Daniel Ghilinta, student at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers in Bucharest. He made a Tesla coil installation and used our cloud to make flashes of lightning while playing music.
The metal cloud is a version of our Norelle cloud which, in its classic mode, it's made from wire, two types of wadding and inside it has an Arduino, a neopixel band and a microphone. The result is a cloud that responds with different coloured light to the sound, depending on its intensity. You can see it here: https://www.facebook.com/NorelleTheCloud/?ref=br_rs.
