Say hello to our newest acquisition a 1950’s era unique Adana TP/48 platen press with rollers that travel 360 degrees rather than up and down! This press was found in a Convent in Washington State, having been run by Nuns for decades. The Serial Number of this press? 666
Adana was the “English” version of Kelsey & Co. that sold small presses to hobbyist and young boys. Over a hundred years after one of the first platen presses, Ruggles job press, introduced the 360 degree rollers, Adana, in England of all places, decided to revive that design, long after industry standards were solidified with up and down rollers.
