After traveling around the world and living in different countries 2020 Pandemic hit me while I was working and living in Doha, Qatar as a cabin crew. Because of the pandemic I become redundant so I came back to my home country Moldova to be more exact, a small village in Republic of Moldova called Grozești. After 6 years I had a feeling that I have to do something home. I arrived home exactly at the period when grapes are ready to be picked.
So I started to make wine, like my grand grandfather, my grandfather and my father is doing fro decades already.
Like every family in Moldova we own some vineyards and from here everything starts.

Now we are smashing the grapes wit this device called in Moldova,, zdrobilca"
After the juice is made every couple hours we have to mix it, and this lasts for around 4 day
Until the juice is in the fermentation process we clean up the wood oak barrels
We clean them inside and outside
Than we open them for a deep cleaning
This will be used for depositing red wine of course
After the cleaning we ansamble back apd poor inside boiling water with herbs for better cleaning. Meanwhile 3/4 days past the juice fermentation is done and we put the juice inside the barrels. We wait for another 1 week and the fresh,, young " wine is ready to say,, Noroc" cheese in our language!
After the wine is ready we collect berries from the forest and do other preparations for winter.
