Skilled tourists often say: "It is better to see once than read about them hundred times". Thousands of articles, detailed photo reports are devoted today to the Chernobyl exclusion zone, but neither of them can convey what is revealed to the tourist.
Already more than 30 years this parallel world deprived of children's laughter and the noise of bustling everyday life. Chernobyl spread its frightening borders just 130 km from densely populated Kyiv. In 1986 those borders were outlined by radiation, which huge levels exceeded the norm thousands of times. After more than three decades, albeit with less danger to human life, radiation still remains the hostess in this place.
The streets, devastated by tragedy and marauders, from place to place still have dangerous radiation level that keeps not only history, but also human memories, their personal belongings, houses and amazing energetics.
Probably this opportunity to plunge headlong into this terrible episode of history, to see it live, how nature absorbs deserted streets and high-rise buildings annually attracts thousands of extreme tourists. The Red Forest, the ghost town of Pripyat and Chernobyl, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the objects forever frozen next to it have turned into unique exhibits.
I dreamed of visiting Chernobyl since my childhood. And recently, this dream has become a reality. I'm not a professional photographer, new to this space. But still hope you’ll enjoy this pics.
