In the last week of June, I was visiting Puri and fortunately, I got to witness the preparations of the annual ceremony of Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra.
Hundreds of devotees were volunteering in the process of making chariots of deities Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra.
Devotees were from different ages and using all different kind of tools ranging from old hand tools to modern power tools.
