Relationships could be happy or sad, full of beautiful moments that you wish to live, again and again, slowly making you realize that this is the person you want to spend your life with, your soulmate. However beneath the shiny veneer is a harsh reality. A lot of 'perfect couple' decide to split their ways because of silly misunderstanding, self-centered attitude and expectations which none of them could fulfill for each other.
They scratch [fight] each other a few times and then boom, they break up. Forgetting all the good moments, the feelings they had for each other, the bond they shared, the way they cared. They keep everything aside and start to ignore each other; as if they're strangers. And honestly, the one who is in the relationship genuinely [mostly girls] end up getting hurt by feeling depressed, guilty, jealous and unhappy. And then all the blame comes down to love.
In reality, love never changes people; people change the love.
Popular Instagram poet, Unscripted by Kunal, recognizes this and uses his platform to promotes common relationship-understanding, showing the real side of being together, busting the myths around it and presenting breakups in the most compelling, positive and powerful way.
To make his point, he created a unique 'strikethrough' series that easily self-defines the myths people believe-in vs. how it should be approached in real.
The response he gets is eye-opening, and, for those individuals who believe that relationships are always perfect and happy, his posts are a much-needed reality check.
No flattering vocab, no flattering rhymes, he uses his 'easy-to-understand' words and real feelings to make his point. His style is 'wordgasmic.'
He started Unscripted by Kunal on Instagram, because millions of people fall prey to the false definition and expectations of a 'fairytale-like-love-stories' presented in films, television, and music videos. While in reality if you check, even most romantic actors in the world have had the most tragic love lives (Brangelina - the most fitting example we have in front of us).
"Falling in and out of love surely changes us, but it is entirely upto us to decide if that change will be positive or negative."
"We're not in the 80s or 90s; the modern love is different and complex. The attention span is less, and you'll meet many people in your lifetime before settling for one. You may even decide not to settle. But, we are all human, and no matter what our choices are, we should all be allowed to feel insanely good in the way we choose," says Kunal in an exclusive interview to BoredPanda.
"The aim of my work and writings on Instagram is to make sure that NO ONE has to deal with a breakup negatively. The pain is as beautiful as love. Everything is a matter of our perception and thoughts."
Unscripted by Kunal continues to push back against unrealistic ideals, ‘fake’ relationship goals and the people's destructive nature of dealing with break-up pain. This Instagrammer does it better by doing it with a smile and a wicked sense of humor.
