I spent a long time feeling unlovely and unwanted because of where I came from and what I thought I was worth. One day, I was taking photos after a rain storm, saw this pile of dead leaves, and fell in love!

Then, I looked up and saw more BEAUTY...in the leaves dying on the trees, and it occurred to me that some things do not achieve their full potential during their prime. Some things are simply more beautiful when they are nearly gone. (a cup of coffee for example...)

We will never know our own true value, or our own full beauty. That is for others to appreciate. What we CAN do, is look around us and be grateful and inspired by what we see. Remember, your joy is more beautiful than the most beautifully made up model when she is unkind or cruel. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and therefore means we are not MEANT to bask in our own image-but in the images of the people and things around us! Look up, look down, look around, and be inspired!
