I created these illustrations as a sort of advice to a friend of mine who wanted to befriend a cat that kept visiting his building premises. He was a little wary, given that Cats have such a bad reputation for being temperamental and unfriendly.
The truth is, most animals have a method, which they follow even when befriending other members of their own species. Most millennials can recall how difficult it was for Harry Potter to befriend Buckbeak, the Hippogriff!
Us Humans, in our naivety, tend to be ignorant and disrespectful of such protocols resulting in either a disappointing attempt or a dangerous one.
