My name is Hitoshi Taguchi and I'm a director of an art group in Tokyo. A dance video “Dance Brew” by us has been posting on YouTube since December 2018.
It is not a recording of dance such as #dancevideo, but an addictive content has various expressions produced by just hands. It has a story, and hands behave like a living thing.
The choreographies of hands and arms inspired by various movement from daily action, such as hitting or grasping, to dance movement, such as “Arm Wave” and “Finger Tutting”, are carefully packed in a limited space on a table. You see the delicacy of Japanese dancers in the one angle single shot video.
Each piece is about 90 seconds. All sound tracks in this series are NCS (No Copyright Sounds) . The number of dancers is different each time. Also they have different roots such as ballet, street dance or contemporary dance. The interactions between those different personalities are also a must-see.
