A user of the Reddit website showed how to deal with an interlocutor who does not want to talk and, at the same time, made people think. The young man told a story, but ended up with an unusual ending. Now, users are trying to understand: the guy who didn't know how to talk properly or the girl wasn't in the mood to answer.
The editor under the nickname u / Munez10 shared on April 20 an example of conversation with a girl who does not show much desire to communicate. The user posted screenshots of messages in which he is trying to have an online conversation with the girl.
Guy: So, basically, I had an internship after my graduating in Peru.
Girl: Ohk.
Guy: The job was to participate i an animal shelter, take care of the dogs and spread awareness amongst the local people.
Girl: Wa great.
The girl reacted to the young man's story without much enthusiasm and responded with a few words, but he continued the dialogue.
Guy-So one day, with other volunteers, I was walking on the roads of Lima [the capital of the Republic of Peru]. And I met a little girl. She was 6 years old. She was born premature with a condition called Neurogenic Mutism.
Girl- 😳😧
Guy-Basically, a person with this condition cannot speak.
Girl-Omg.
The unusual twist of the story did not impress the girl, and she continued to respond to the messages with a clear answer or a smile of approval. Despite the interlocutor's intransigence, the subject summarized the story.
Guy-And i felt really bad and tried to talk to her. Asked her name.
Girl-Hm
Guy- And she couldn't say even a single word. But despite of that, she made a better effort at having a conversation than you.
