I like to keep these kind of things private from Facebook, but....
Today while shopping at the grocery store I was in the cash out line (if you know me - you know I am a coupon queen), and an older veteran walks up behind me.
Me: Hey Sir, I noticed that cashier over there is open - to save you time. I mental noted his veteran hat, breakfast, and dimly lit smile.
Vet: No that's alright, I don't mind. I'm just going home and going to bed.
If you know me, you also know that older people have a special place in my heart. This man reminded me of my Veteran Great Grandfather "PA".
Me: *Hands the cashier enough cash to pay for his goods & asks her to apply to his bill* Thank you Sir for your patience and service!
So yes, I paid for his bill. And I'm only sharing this because -- you should've seen his face light up. I hope I made his night.
This is what America is about. Not nasty politics or hate.
