I use textile as a medium to create 2D and 3D art like one would use paint. When I first started I would buy fabric by the yard but later began "greening" the process by receiving unused fabric from the local seamstress and giving these a second life in my creations. Some of them I surface in acrylic paint or luminescent paint and then have them framed in shadow boxes to ensure preservation. All types of textiles are used but the deciding factor is their density. If it's too thick I can not use it. I create I upload progress images and videos primarily to my Facebook and Instagram accounts under the handle @amartinTexarT
