Clever enough for adults and silly enough for kids, SpongeBob SquarePants has been capturing hearts for over 20 years. That’s why when Chef Riley Pyeatt with Sweet Riley’s Bakery heard that her client’s friend was a SpongeBob fan that was turning 25 years old, she knew exactly what cake she wanted to create.
Season 3, episode 13 is memorable to almost everyone under the age of 30. “New Student Starfish” is a hilariously wholesome episode where Patrick joins SpongeBob in boating school. Patrick continuously gets his friend in trouble for goofing around with him disrupting the class which birthed the infamous “funnier than 24…25” joke that is engrained in our memories.
After awhile, Patrick and SpongeBob begin to resent each other over petty reasons causing the light to go out that kept their science project alive. In order to save Roger (their project) they agreed to put their differences aside displaying an excellent example of humility to all of us 90s and early 2000s kids.
