Surreal Digital Art

Hey! I am Karina, a graphic designer from Costa Rica, who tries to do more than just want it has to be done at work.

Love photoshop, I started when I was studying, started my love of photoshop in a photography studio, improving photos for restaurants, food, etc.

With time I fell in love with it! I wanted that my job was only photoshop images, but it wasn't the case.

With time I just improved myself, and I wanted to do something with this love for photoshop.

So I am always looking art, artist... getting inspired by the world in everything and in every platform.

I started doing things with animals and trying to make something that could make people conscious about nature, environment, other some of my life put into art and some just cause feel likes it.

Everybody want to do something, but at the end not much is done.

We only have this planet (for now), we have to take care of it!

City Series

Washington DC, so I also visited DC.

Ever since these charismatic bears arrived at the Zoo in 1972, animal care staff and scientists have studied giant panda biology, behavior, breeding, reproduction and disease. These experts are also leading ecology studies in giant pandas' native habitat. The Zoo's giant panda team works closely with colleagues in China to advance conservation efforts around the world."

Last year I gave Filli (canary, and it was raised in captivity, he could not make it on his own in nature) as a birthday present to my mother so I could give her happiness and joy, we had one before and last for years. So we expected it was going to be the same, but sadly some animal ate him in the night and we could't help him.

I did this so my mom would feel better and feel like he is resting in a good place.

This was my first surreal art, I just got inspired and put something that I liked together! This was the result.

I traveled to Washington DC and I have been told that DC's Zoo is the only one with a panda in the USA, besides that, this year panda bear stop being an animal in danger of extinction!

East North American Cougar
Cougars are returning to the east, not the same subespecies that got extinct but is good cause they manage the overgrown deer population and reduce the number of road accidents.

Recently I went to New York for the first time, and fell in love with the city!
So here is a sloth for where I am from taking NYC!
