I was so amazed by the perseverance of the hummingbird when I watched the movie comedy called The Big Year. It inspired me to begin my own search for hummingbirds in my country and the result is we don't have one—people here mistook the Sunbirds as Hummingbirds instead. I guess I can settle for the Sunbirds since they look pretty beautiful too! Bird photography are not as easy as they seemed especially when they skip around so fast and you are trying to take a portrait of one with a long lens at a close distance. I wasn't prepared for him but I am happy with this shot.
