Anime series like One Punch Man and Attack on Titan fueled the raging fire by adding more characters. Today, this question is as hard to answer as it was at its inception.

Want more information about the characters from your beloved anime series? Want to learn about haki and how it affects power? We decided to delve into the big three anime series — One Piece, Naruto, and Dragon Balls. Learn more about the characters we think are the strongest in the series.

Who is the Strongest Anime Character in Naruto?

Kaguya Otsutsuki is the strongest character, no questions asked. Why? It took the main character, Sasuke, Kakashi, and many more characters to beat her. However, there are other interesting characters, too.

Madara is a contender for the title of the strongest human character in the series. He checks all the requirements — cool hair, superhuman power, and a tragic story. Also, the Rinnegan allows him to pull some interesting jutsu.

However, it is Naruto and Sasuke who truly are the strongest ones. They were able to survive till the end of the Shippuden series, facing threats on a global scale. Also, in Naruto’s case, he continued the teaching of his sense, Jiraya, fulfilling the prophecy.

Who is the Strongest Anime Character in One Piece?

To understand who is the strongest anime character in One Piece, you must understand how power gets calculated. Haki (spirit, ambition) is the universal way to calculate power. However, a devil's fruit can also determine how strong the character is.

Haki-wise, Shanks is the strongest one. He doesn’t have a devil fruit but possesses all three haki. According to the creator, his presence is powerful enough to nerf other haki users. However, Garp and Roger, in their prime days, might easily beat Shanks in a one-on-one fight.

Devil fruit-wise, Akainu, the fleet admiral, might be the strongest. He’s the owner of the best offensive devil fruit — Magma-Magma fruit. However, Black Beard has two devil fruits — Tremor-Tremor and Dark-Dark Fruit — making him automatically much stronger.

However, when it comes to one-on-one on land, sea, or air, Kaido, king of the beasts, is unmatched. Only several characters hurt him, one of them being Luffy. To add more to his power, he has a devil fruit and can turn into a dragon. He is one of the strongest anime villains to have ever lived.

Who is the Strongest Anime Character in Dragon Ball?

With this one, the answer is obvious — Goku. Being the story's main protagonist, Goku struggled and overcame the problems, becoming one of the coolest characters in anime. Goku defines the “Who is the strongest anime character?” question. Fabulous hair (the spikier, the better), superhuman strength, and a tragic backstory. Goku set a bar for the Dragon Ball series and all other shounen anime.

Why the Strongest Female Anime Characters Get Less Attention?

You might have noticed that many characters in this list are males. When it comes to the strongest female anime characters, there aren’t a lot of choices. Big Mom from One Piece and Kaguya Otsutsuki from Naruto are just two of the more famous examples you might know.

The reason for this gap might be the target audience. A lot of anime series focus on the young male audience. However, in the past few decades, as the target audience grew, the rooster of characters also expanded.
