#3 All I Want Is You By Dominik Schulze

AAP Magazine 28 is our 4th competition covering the theme of street photography. As always, the caliber of submitted images was really high but what differed from the previous edition we shared on Bored Panda is that this time around there were less humorous shots and more poetry.
#4 Electric Girl By Anna Biret

#5 Juxtaposition From The Series 'Surfers Paradise Street Life' By Carol Foote

For this 28th edition of AAP Magazine, we were looking for the heart and soul of a society and its people. Whether photographed in the countryside, or in an urban setting, the images we chose reflect the diversity of the photographer's background and approach to street photography. The twenty-five selected photographers have many talents, an eye for detail, light and composition. Thanks to their ability to grasp decisive moments, they allowed us to become a spectator of their wanderings, a curious observer of people's behavior.
Selecting the winners was certainly not an easy task, there were so many incredible single shots from around the world, but in the end, we hope you will all enjoy this collection of weird and wonderful stolen moments.
#6 On Broadway, Manhattan By Vincent Soyez

#7 The American Dream By Rodrigo Paredes

We chose the image 'Rain Man' for the cover of AAP Magazine 28 by Olga Karlovac from Croatia, for her poetic vision of the subject. Her overall submission, which will be published entirely in the magazine, is inspired by abstract expressionists and plays with shadows and light. In this project called 'Escape", we can feel the rain, the urge of the passersby to run back home or take shelter. These fleeting moments seemingly captured in slow motion, are both abstract and painterly.
#8 Untitled By Hans Severin

#9 Color Your Life By Massimo Giordano

John Maloof wrote " A good street photographer must be possessed of many talents: an eye for detail, light and composition, impeccable timing, a populist or humanitarian outlook and a tireless ability to constantly shoot, shoot, shoot and never miss a moment."
But in the end, depending on the photographer's sensibility and the environment they work in, street shots can be extremely different from one country to another and even from one street to another. Street photography is "a genre that records everyday life in a public place." (Encyclopedia Britannica) The possibilities are limitless which makes it so exciting.
