I Try To Inspire People To See The World Around Them In A Fresh Perspective By Placing Googly Eye Stickers On Inanimate Objects (25 Pics)

I've been creating street art by placing googly eye stickers on objects found in areas accessible to the general public and imagining having a chat with them. What would they say to me as they introduce themselves?
In recent years, a new trend in street art has emerged: placing googly eye stickers on various objects in public spaces. This playful form of street art seeks to give life and personality to inanimate objects, transforming them into quirky characters that add a touch of humor and whimsy to the urban landscape. Whether it's a fire hydrant, a mailbox, or a parking meter, googly eye street art brings a smile to the faces of passersby and encourages them to see the world around them in a new and imaginative way.

The journey of Daily EyeScream started when someone gave me a bag of googly eye stickers as a gift. On that day, I traveled to Szeged (a city in southern Hungary), so I brought them in my pocket. When we were walking and sightseeing there, I started to look at objects as faces without eyes, and suddenly I realized how many are out there. So I started to take photos of them, and the collection was established with dozens of these from Szeged.

When I realized that people like this type of street art, and social media posts, I decided to add a cherry on top of it by adding subtitles: what would these creatures say, if they could speak and introduce themselves? I always had 2-3 pairs of stickers with me, so wherever we traveled, I was always searching for these faces. Later, I tried to take photos in a way that you can feel even the mood of that country or city or add a landmark in the background if that was possible. I have to mention that it's not just Europe, I have had several Eyescream faces in China, Kazakhstan, Tanzania, Indonesia, and the Philippines as well.

It is an ongoing project. However, because my 'Daily EyeScream' Facebook and Instagram pages got fewer and fewer likes, I'm just saving the photos for myself, and not posting too often nowadays. I still have hundreds of unpublished Daily EyeScream characters.

When planning on bringing an object to life, I'm just looking for things, shapes, and textures which can be good for a mouth or a mouth and a nose together. Then adding the different-sized stickers will do the rest, because the eyes are the most important part of a face; your brain will immediately recognize these lifeless objects as funny faces.

My family and friends really liked these images, but unfortunately, I didn't have so many reactions from other people other than likes... so I can just hope that it makes walkers and especially children smile when they see these creatures on the streets.
