I'm an indie musician by day, and a part-time urban gardener the rest of the day. Recently I was fortunate to enjoy the dedication to my deck garden, fighting away city squirrels and terrifying looking hornworms since early Spring so that I could clear the way for both a strawberry, AND a lemon.
My goal with this garden is to one day have enough fruit for my future grandchildren to visit my grave with a nice fresh 2/3 cup of juice.
I may just need to dedicate my focus entirely to music after this summer is done with me.
