It’s the first time in Thai history that government cancelled Songkran festival, the holiday national event Thai people waited for. This year, people have no holiday, stay home without water splash activity and all alcohol beverages purchases were also banned.
SangSom, Thai Rum Brand, takes this opportunity to encourage people with desperate feeling to stop drinking and parties and stay safe at home with the campaign “Stop Drink For Nation”.
SangSom has been a part of Thai party for a long time. Therefore, the brand would like to stay side by side with Thai people by telling them “to survive” from social distancing life so that we can get back to our normal life ASAP.
Even if we have to…
Survive from the skyrocket cost of electricity bill
Survive from the difficulties while working from home
Survive from loosing friends to be TikTok professional dancers
And keeping distance from all parties because sharing drinks at this moment is not ok.
However, we will get through this time together with #StopDrinkForNation
With Love From SangSom
Previously, SangSom did create the viral “Farewell The Bucket” campaign which SangSom scarified the brand drinking signature to invite Thai people to drink safely in the situation that all alcohol beverages were banned, the brand was talked in social media overnight.
During the pandemic, the production process of creative pieces were simplified to be image and video which all crews could work distance to stay safe. As the no.1 Thai rum brand, SangSom wish Thai people to drink safe. #StopDrinkForNation is under the CSR “Drink Don’t Dumb"campaign that SangSom has continued since 2018 with loads of achievements.
