Spent 2 Months Throwing 2500+ Vessels To Create A Self-Portrait

I started a weekend pottery course just less than 2 years ago. I recently completed a little art project that took me 2 months to complete.
I threw 2500+ vessels on the pottery wheel to create a self-portrait. I entered it into a few art competitions but wasn't selected so I decided to share it with you guys. Hope you like it.

The final result

It all starts with 50g of clay

I got pretty quick at throwing vessels

I'm able to do one in around 50 seconds. I guess you can work out how long it took to throw all the vessels

For the lazy ones, the answer is: 50 seconds x 2500 vessels = 125000 seconds or 34 hours.

The vessels started to pile up

I arranged them on a shitty shelf I built so I could finally paint them

I intended to film a timelapse of the 10 hours it took to arrange them, though of course I didn't set my camera up correctly, took only 3 photos

Final self portrait which is made up of 2124 vessels measuring 2m high
