Sonar was abandoned in an empty house when he was 6 months old in Cleveland, Ohio. He was completely deaf and blind at birth, which is believed from being exposed to canine distemper, and was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, but that has not stopped him from living life to the fullest! Sonar loves to swim, roll around in the grass, and make new friends everywhere he goes. There is not a single person that doesn't leave with a smile on their face when they meet him. Had Sonar not been rescued from that house almost 3 years ago, his family and the people he has come into contact with, would never know how amazing he really is and realize that even though you can't see or hear, life is still beautiful.
