Matt shared that his dad loves doing photoshoots and always looks forward to them every year. "He's a performer at heart, so he really enjoys all the attention he gets, even though it's quite a lot of work sometimes."
For Matt, the best part of the creative process is when he finally can 'put' his dad into famous films. "I try to choose serious scenes that are made comedy by my dad’s inclusion, like turning the 'say hello to my little friend' scene in Scarface into a failed banjo lesson."
Originally Matt is a graphic designer, so he has a lot of experience working with Photoshop. However, his talents extend beyond the digital art world. In addition to his Photoshop skills, he has also inherited his dad's musicality and is able to play guitar, drums, piano, and even sing!
Looking at all the edits, one cannot help but notice that Matt's dad is wearing the same outfit in every scene. The artist shared that the outfit his dad wears came from one of the early posts they did in the first year. "We thought it would be good to stick with it to make him look even more out of place in the images."
