Socially Distanced Tattooing

Hi,
I'd like to share my social distanced tattoo performance with you.
It is about keeping a daily routine and structure while not beeing able to work.
Tattooing becomes a ritual in itself, not for the purpose of aesthetics.
It can be seen as a projection surface for each individuals personal deprivation this year.
During the first lockdown in spring i badly missed my daily routine.
Getting up at a certain time.
Having breakfast with my family.
Walking my dog through the park on my way to my shop.
Seeing my colleagues and customers.
Taking care of the plants and the shop etc.
The most basic things you'd take for granted.
Despite from not being able to work and earn a living i was feeling a lack of purpose.
Since i was prohibited to work on my clients for the second period of time i figured i can still tattoo myself.
As we all are counting days to get back to normal a tally sheet fits perfectly.
Not for aesthetics, just for the sake of the ritual and the daily routine.
Everyone is missing something they do on a regular base this year. I think the people can relate and project their personal deprivation into my daily routine.
