On July 15, 2015, only five days after being married, I was involved in a serious accident caused by a faulty pyrotechnic. I sustained numerous injuries from the blast. The most serious being the loss of my left hand. I was in an induced coma for 6 days. After waking up I underwent multiple surgeries and countless hours of physical therapy before I was able to return home 57 days later. I believe my positive attitude coupled with my desire to live and succeed in life helped my body to heal at a substantial rate surprising not only me, but my physicians as well. From the speeches I give and the music I create, I dedicate my life to helping others both professionally and through service.
