After studying abroad (in the UK) some years ago, I returned back to Greece and haven't left since. I can definitely say that it's a great source of inspiration. The wonderful weather, the food, the traditional markets, the creative scene that is a mixture of modern and classical culture are all things that stimulate my creative process.
I've always been a daydreamer, and I've always had a very vivid imagination. I find it interesting and funny to look at objects, food, and drinks and imagine them as living beings, with their own stories to tell, their own adventures.
Silly ideas sort of pop up in my head (usually at the weirdest times). I write them down and do quick sketches of most of them. I then work on the ones I like best until I'm happy with the end result. I'm also a big fan of wordplay, so if I can throw a pun in there as well, I'm all the happier!
