People love a good before-and-after picture — whether it’s a fitness journey, a home makeover, or a deep clean.
That is why power washing transformations are so wildly popular online.
Weathered gray decks can turn back into fresh wood, and stained concrete driveways can be free of oil spots in a matter of minutes… all thanks to high-pressure water blasting away years of grime.
Much of this visual craze comes from a popular subreddit dedicated to the most satisfying cleanups. From there, we’ve collected the best photos to show you how powerful a quick deep clean can be.
#21 This Is For All Of You

The result of letting the pool go over the winter :/
Anyway…hope you enjoy watching as much as my husband and I enjoyed washing.

In a fast-moving world, watching a driveway or sidewalk go from neglected to pristine can be quite therapeutic — for both your house and mind.
Whether you use these photos as a quick mental break, a burst of motivation to tackle your own home chores, or just a guilty-pleasure scroll, one thing is clear… clean things are oddly satisfying.

#25 Soft Washing Cedar Shingle Cladding

Doing the whole house and patio currently, thought someone might like to see the process.
Stage one, wet the shingles (it’s raining today)
Step two, sodium percarbonate, left to soak in, and kept wet.
Step three, citric acid
Step four, fresh water rinse
Chemicals are applied at low pressure, keeping the lance 30-50cm from the shingles. Only time high pressure is used is on the bottom most shingles where they get soiled more by ground splash.
Thanks.

#35 Small Satisfaction

Yesterday, after years of obsessively following this topic, I finally bought a Kärcher K3. I had never done it before because, living in an apartment building, it always seemed a bit absurd.
Then yesterday, my 7-year-old son and I washed the perimeter wall of the courtyard — a wall that probably hadn’t been touched by anyone since 1957.
Absolutely disgusting, but we had an amazing time.
Greetings from Italy!

#37 Acid Wash On A Boat Hull

Hey all,
The acid does the hard work The powerwasher just helps speed up rinsing and helps knocking off organic growth.
Have a great weekend everyone :)
Cheers,
Andrew
