The book Nirvahana is a series of 3 voloumes that i worked on during my college time. The concept of the first 2 books was to take up Indian folktale and illustrate it in Indian art style. But for the third book I wanted to take up international art style with an Indian folklore. So I worked on one story of Sati illustarted in Van Gogh Ar style.
This took me 3 months to illustrate. There were a lot of trail and error during the process of storyboarding and selection of right colors. But this art style and story are very close to my heart. My love of colours has been expressed here.
