With masks in the world really happened: they are still nowhere, and in social networks have multiplied accounts, offering to bring a homemade mask for just 300 rubles (4-5 $).
You can order "real" medical masks, there are suggestions — for a package (five pieces) to pay 500 rubles (6-7 $). In short, associations with the word "mask" are now so-so.
But Moscow jeweler Pavel Ryzhenkov decided to change the image of this protective tool, or rather, return it to its original one. He made rings and earrings in the form of masks, which, as amulets, symbolize protection and security.
"March was officially recognized as the worst month ever. Here we suddenly realized that man is not the crown of creation, and the security, economy, and habitual way of life can be destroyed by the flapping of a bat's wing. The world was suddenly fragile. Probably, it was like this before, we just didn't notice, there was no time. Ryzhenkov made a ring and earrings in the form of a medical mask. Perhaps this will be perceived as a hype. But we have developed a slightly different philosophy: protection-security is the meaning of work, " - shared from the jeweler's Instagram.
The mask ring is sold for 6,000 rubles (79,26$), and the earrings-pussets (i.e. "carnations") - for 5,500 rubles (72,66$). They are traditional silver.
Ryzhenkov is known for his avant-garde jewelry: a "concrete" diamond fence, pendants with images of goalkeepers and parachutist Deineka, rings in the shape of the head of Stalin and earrings dedicated to Boyce.
There is no doubt about the quality: Ryzhenkov used to work in watch factories, and also restored Church utensils, but has been engaged in his business for almost ten years.
