While outdoors I often collect colorful, interesting small objects such as flower pedants, sea shells and autumn leaves. Making mandalas out of these little treasures is a great way to get my mind off the troubles of everyday life for a while. Making a mandala, from collecting the ingredients to taking a picture of the finished work of art, is like a little relaxing meditation routine. You should try making one for yourself!
